Lassie Talks is a family run dog training provider. We are passionate about the welfare of dogs, and take a holistic view of the dog, in that both health and behaviour are linked.

After 40+ years in practice Yvonne and Robert have come to see how the other end of the lead is extremely important too.

Uniquely, Yvonne has researched how our emotions and our dogs emotions interact, and she understands how to create a better BOND with YOUR DOG.

Together Yvonne, a dog behaviourist and trainer, and Robert, a veterinarian, coach others to find their dog’s LASSIE’S HEART and have the relationship with their dog they always wanted. Here each client finds the SECRET SAUCE OF DOGMANSHIP (a term Yvonne explains in her book ‘In Search of Lassie: A Dog Owner’s Guide to the Lassie Myth’).
Robert, is particularly interested in how pain and poor health affects behaviour.
Yvonne, has owned dogs all her life, is particularly interested in how owners tell self limiting stories that block them from having the dog that they dreamed of owning, a dog just like Lassie.
