What Sort of Owner are You?

We are all human and get cross with our dogs sometimes. But rather than get cross, how about getting curious? When we start to think about why our dogs behave as they do rather than shouting or yanking on the dog's lead, we might find we are closer to solving our dog's maladaptive behaviour. For example, if your dog is barking and lunging at another dog, it might be fear driving that behaviour, and if you start to shout at your dog or yank on its lead, you are just proving to your dog that they were right to be fearful.
