Holiday Time

When walking your dog on holiday, always remember to follow the countryside code. Always follow the advice, and when there are signs saying put your dogs on a lead, do what the sign says! The day before, we had just got over the brow of one hill to find a field of very young lambs. Now we had our dogs on a lead, but they took one look at Fred, our black and white collie, and began to run. That was exciting for both collies, who are hardwired to give chase, so I was pleased they were on a lead. If I sound out of breath, that is because I had just scaled the hill behind me. Thankfully, it was downhill on the way back to the car. I think the dogs were even glad of it.
